A useful product so far.
Some feature requests to make it more useful:
- “Silent” charging mode is only accessible via app.
- If unit is charging is silent mode and “turbo” mode is enabled, unit reverts to “standard” and not “silent” mode.
- No security in offline Bluetooth access.
I also tried charging the unit from my car’s accessory outlet. The outlet is limited to 180W. The input power leveled out at about 110W. So it seems the AC50B self-limits its current draw to the 8.5A limit printed below on the 12V input connector. So it seems to be safe to use with most auto accessory outlets.
Hi @wsanders, Thank you for your suggestions. We have relayed them to the R&D department and urged them to conduct feasibility discussions.
Regarding the third point about Bluetooth security - this is something we’ve already taken into consideration.
For safety purposes, the AC50B features Bluetooth encryption. When using a direct Bluetooth connection, this protects customer privacy and prevents unauthorized access to your device. Please bind the device via the app first, then set up a direct Bluetooth connection password in the settings interface.
We’ve attached a screenshot for your reference.
