I have an AC500 + 1x B300S + 4x B300.
In what order or combination do I have to connect the batteries so that the AC500 recognizes and manages all 5 batteries?

Someone else may correct me, but I seem to recall that a single AC500 can support either 6 B300s batteries or 4 B300 batteries. If you’re mixing B300 and B300s, then I believe it’s limited to 4 total so that seems to suggest that it can’t handle 5 mixed batteries, only a mix of 4 total.

TMan is correct you can only have 4 batteries if using one or more B300.

It should work, but I don’t know in which order I have to connect the batteries.

That’s new info for me, good to know. I purchased mine on launch day and at that time they claimed you could only have 4 with a B300 in the mix.

That does seem to be new information about using 6 mixed batteries compared to what I read when I purchased my units. Based on the chat which says connect the B300 units first, you could try connecting two B300 units in series to the BAT 01 port on the AC500, and then the other two B300 units in series to the BAT 02 port and then connect your single B300S after those two B300 units. Seems like the only other possibility would be to put the 3-battery string on BAT 01 and the 2-battery string on BAT 02. Don’t know if that’ll make a difference or not.
When Bluetti support replies, you might also ask if there’s a specific version of the AC500’s software that allows mixing up to 6 units or has it always been that way and we’ve just never known it?

it’s a shame that BLUETTI_CARE doesn’t answer this, in my opinion very important, question.
Does Bluetti want AC500 owners to only buy new B300S batteries because they believe that B300 and B300S cannot be used together? I’m still hoping for a clear answer from BLUETTI_CARE!

Hi Akel, Since you didn’t @BLUETTI_CARE earlier, I didn’t notice the issue in time.
The best pairing for the AC500 is with the B300S, but it can also be used with both the B300 and B300S together.
You need to connect the B300 first and then connect the B300S for the system to recognize all 5 battery packs; otherwise, it will only recognize 4 battery packs. You can refer to the following connection method:
