there is no problem controlling the AC500 via my local home network.
But how is access possible from anywhere else in the world
using the Android App or any web interface?
What is the setup for the router?

You can connect the Unit to your Wifi Network (with internet access). It should sync with the Bluetti Servers and you can have a look at it from anywhere.
In the App you can connect by Bluetooth or by cloud. Choose cloud and you should be fine. No extra configuration is needed.
