Just bought a Ac500 with one B300S battery about a month ago. Turned it on once when I got it a month ago. Everything was fine. Tried to turn it on again yesterday and nothing powered up (both inverter and battery). Plugged it into AC overnight. No luck. Took it outside today to try to charge with solar panels. Nothing. Contacted Bluetti. They said to make sure the connecting cable is clicked in and locked. I had them clicked in, so it remains a mystery. Any help would be appreciated. Frustrating!
Hi
I will first check if the b300s is too discharged or is broken.
To do this, I will disconnect it from your ac500.
Then try to turn on your B300s. If it does not turn on, try to charge it directly with solar (the mc4 to xt90 cable to power your B300s directly with solar are delivered with your B300s).
Be careful, the solar input of your B300s supports a VOC 12-60VDC… Your solar panels must provide a maximum voltage lower than 60v… Do not do this operation if your panels in series exceed 60v (Try to reduce the solar voltage : reduce the number of solar panels if they are in series).
Normally the panels should be able to wake up your B300s and recharge it… Let your solar panels recharge your B300s and then reconnect to your ac500 and try to turn it on again.
Thanks for your response. I tried to charge via solar, but it is still dead. I ordered an AC plug in adapter and will try that next.
If you know someone who has a Bluetti AC200xxx with an ac dc adapter (T500) you can also try to charge your B300 alone via the dc7909 input. In any case it is still under warranty!
I know you said you clicked in the cables, BUT, make sure the LOCK button is pushed forward on both ends of the cable. That drove me nuts before when I rearranged my cables. That one little thing will keep it from connecting.
Yes, I did have the tabs to the lock position. Thank you though!
Yes, I did move the tabs to the locked position. Thank you for responding!
I bought one off of Amazon. Will try that route when I get it next week. Thank you!
Sounds like you need to contact Bluetti tech support; don’t reley entirely on just this forum.
