While it looks like that AC500 has 2 strings, I wonder if it has 2 MPPT controllers. This would enable to place solar panels on different sides of the roof, otherwise it would make no sense to do that. So while the adapter can be used for 2 strings - does AC500 have 2 MPPT controllers?

Correct. That sounds like a perfect utilization of the ac500. Just make sure your strings fall into the input parameters and you’ll be good to go! Cheers!
