I have an AC500 with three B300 and one B300S expansion batteries, and I’m trying to connect them together. The AC500 is on top. Second, is the B300S and the rest are B300. I connected the B300S to the first battery port on the AC500. I tried using the second battery port on the AC500 to connect the P150D to P090D cable to the second battery, which is a B300, but an alarm came on. So I connected the P150D to P090D cable to the second battery port on the B300S and it connected to the B300. I have two more P150D to P090D cables and the P150D part of the cable is too big for the other two B300 batteries; only the P090D part fits. I do have two additional P090D to P090D cables from connecting an AC200 Max + B300 battery. Can I use the P090D to P090D cable to connect the other two B300 batteries?
If alarms—we need to check whether it’s indicating an error and, if so, what the error code is. The connection way itself is correct, but it might not be securely fastened. Try replacing the cable to see if that resolves the issue.
Since the B300S has a maximum output current of 90A while the B300 is limited to 60A, their cable specifications differ. This is why they are physically incompatible and cannot be plugged into each other.
Similarly, the P090D-P090D cable can also be used to connect two B300 units together.
