I recently acquired an AC500 and testing the 24V/10A output. If I slowly increase the load from 195W to 200W (AC500 DC output display) then the AC500 shut’s the dc output off. I have never been able to reach above 200W.
According to the description it should take 24Vx10A=240W !!!.
Firmware is current. Is this a firmware bug ???

Have you measured the actual output voltage?
It maybe calculates output watt from the assumption that the output voltage is 24V
12V on the EB3A means ~13,5V but it drops to 8V with a load.
Anyways this is not how it should be.
Competitors show true power and label the output voltage wit the accrual voltage or a voltage range.
Output Voltage is around 22V at the time when around 200W is displayed.
So the current is about 9A.
That means that the AC500 should not turn of the DC output since output is still in allowed range.
So it’s maybe broken. Or the specifications are wrong.
