I am feeding a 120v single phase sub panel, which is not bonded per code. Coming out of the AC300 30a (TT-30) outlet and feeding the sub panel. Pin 1 hot, Pin 2 neutral and pin 3 ground.
When I connect to the sub panel I get a “line fault” on my power conditioner. I need to bond ground to neutral to clear the fault (which is not to code).
What am I doing wrong?
@scottrftv When AC input is not connected, our unit operates with floating neutral, meaning the neutral line is not grounded. Are you currently connected to an AC input?

I figured out what I was doing. I was disconnecting the main panel (bonded) to only feed the loads on the sub panel. When I disconnect the main panel, I am also disconnecting the bonded neutral. My “sub panel” is now the “main panel” because it is now the first point of being energized, and bonding the ground to neutral is per code.
Does the AC300 want to see a bonded ground to neutral when it has a load?
Thanks for the reply.
You’re asking if it’s okay to connect the neutral line and the ground line together? Yes, that’s perfectly fine.
