AC300 split phase configuration

Hi I currently have a single AC300 with 2 B300’s and 2 B300K’s with 2 parallel series of 4 solar panels on each PV input (16 panels total) I am switching to a dual split-phase system. I just received the AC300 Fusion Box and will be hooking up the 2nd AC300 I have to create the split phase system. My ultimate goal is to have double what I have now on each of the 2 AC300’s in terms of batteries and solar panels, but it will be a while before I splurge on the extra components. In the meantime, if I take two of the batteries from the first AC300 and put them on the second with 1 parallel series of 4 each on the 2nd AC300 (8 panels) and leave the 16 panels on the first AC300, how will the new setup handle the charging and discharging of the batteries? Will each AC300 only charge and discharge the batteries using the batteries and solar panels that are hooked up to each individually, or will the solar PV input and energy discharge be distributed evenly across all 4 batteries?

If they are still acting independently, I am thinking maybe I should just leave 3 batteries on the first AC300 that has the 16 solar panels on it and one battery on the second AC300 that has the 4 panels - would that work or do both AC300’s in a split phase system have to be configured evenly? Any info is greatly appreciated!

The solar charging function operates independently between two AC300 units: solar panels will only charge the specific AC300 system they are connected to.
