AC300 screen stays on

The screen on my AC300 doesn’t time out anymore. It stays on full brightness all the time. I have turned it down and set the timeout to 1 minute in the settings, but it still stays on.

The screen staying on isn’t really a problem, except that I am worried about it wearing out from staying on unnecessarily.

Does anyone else have this problem? How do I fix it?

Go to the settings menu and set the sleep time to something you desire. Like 30 seconds. This is the screen timeout.

I have done that.

It used to time out after 30 seconds. Now it doesn’t time out at all regardless of the time I set.

The screen brightness only turns down briefly when I move the slider. It returns to full brightness after a few seconds.
