Hello again,
Has anyone a solution to get the Grit system from the “IT” the AC300 delivers, to a TE ?
I’ve installed my AC300 and everything works fine, but my problem started when i tried to connect it to my Pool…
I saw some solutions online but those were more like quick fix than solutions.
Yesterday a German Electrician Presented a Adapter for an other Portable Power Supply to solve that problem save, so i wondered if there is one from Bluetti too ?

@Israfel
Sorry, I’m not sure what your specific needs are and “IT and TE” systems? If you just want to ground the AC300, you can charge it through an AC wall outlet.
My needs or better my pool’s need is a defined “neutral (blue)” as far as i could research. In my garden where the system is set up, there is no “outlet” to connect it to. Its not about charging, my solar panels have kept the battery above 50%. Its completely OFF-Grid. I did set up a ground connection with a Grounding rod, but that alone doesn’t define a neutral.
But i saw i made a mistake in my 1st post, its supposed to be called “TN” not “TE”
@Israfel
The technical team recommends charging the AC300 using AC wall power, and then having an electrician ground the neutral line at the distribution box end.
Like i said before this is NOT ABOUT CHARGING. The question was if there is a device like there is for “Ecoflow” but it seems there is not, since Tech Support recommends an outlet that is not there and a electrician.
Hello @Israfel
I’m from the USA so my electrical system is different (at least it seems to me that you’re from Germany?), but I’m not understanding the problem you are having. What is the actual problem, is there a GFI type plug on your pool equipment that is tripping, for example?
Austria, but we got the same Grid system as Germans. The problem i got is, that the pool needs Line, neutral and Ground(don’t ask my why, probably because of the in-built heating system and laws and regulations) . which the Bluetti AC300 does not deliver. (see illustration in my 1st post)
If you measure the current on the outlet, you get 230V only if you do it on both pins, if you measure 1 pin and “ground” you get about 40V.
Type F is what i got on the Pool Plug and my Bluetti AC300
Ok, I am going to assume, and I think rightly for your case, that this is similar to what we have in the USA. Our Bluetti power stations do not bond the neutral and ground wires together, and for safety reasons they should not in case they are used while connected to the mains. The reason for that in the USA, and I assume so in Austria, etc., also, is that it is a problem to have the ground and neutral wires bonded together at more than one place in a home (or business, etc.), as it provides more than one path for electricity to travel if there is a wiring problem with the home/business, or with an appliance, etc.
But when the power station (also true for gasoline / petrol generators) is used completely stand-alone then it becomes necessary to bond the neutral and ground wires together at one location, usually at the power station. For my case, I have purchased neutral-ground bonding plugs that I can simply plug into one of the sockets on my power station if I use it in stand-alone mode. This will allow devices that detect the ground and neutral connection state to function normally. For example, GFCI plugs on some devices will trip off, and some furnaces will not run their fan, if that bond is not there – connecting a bonding plug into the power station corrects this problem and the devices will work normally.
As an example, here is what I purchased for my USA power stations:

In my case the bright orange color can remind me that it is in use.
Thanks that is exactly what the “quick fix” does, but in a pre-built plug. So that would mean there is only that way to get the problem solved and i would have to get some breakers installed (by regulation) to use it safely. Thanks for your advice and help.
In that regard, if you connect one of those to the socket, that would mean the other sockets would be changed aswell since the sockets all run on the same cable inside the machine, right ? Except for the usb ports ?
While I’m not familiar with the electrical requirements in Austria, it seems to me that circuit breakers, etc., would not be a necessity, and these plugs specifically would not require all that. I know that is the case here in the USA. What would someone do where you are if they went camping and had a gasoline generator in use? Or if someone was building something too far away from a source of mains power and were either using a generator or power station, would that require an electrical panel and breakers, etc?
Sadly i didn’t find those plugs for type-F outlet. I don’t know about gasoline generators, but as far as my research goes, its only if you change from the IT-Grid to TN.
I mean i did power my Miter and Table saw using the AC300, even the pump doesnt care what power it gets, its just the pool acting up …
Ok, so I read up about the differences between an “IT” grounding system vs a “TN” grounding system.
So, the power stations are, by default, not grounded to earth (an IT style system). So, if your pool actually does need an earth ground, then you can install a conductive ground rod somewhere near where you will have the Bluetti situated, and run an electrical ground cable from the ground screw on the Bluetti to that grounding rod, or to the cable you use to plug into the Bluetti, and you will now have a TN style electrical system. However, you will probably still need to bond the ground and neutral together.
Yes, that was the plan. But the electrician i consulted about that told me he wasnt sure if that is legal here, in terms of who’s at fault if something goes wrong and since its been more than a week i guess there is still no answer to that…
I did however place a grounding rod near the solar station connected to the outlets in my garden and another one on the ground connector on the pool pump (optional additional ground)
My electrician came over today to check out what’s up with the pool. The grounding rod was enough, but the pool just needed the neutral and he said setting it up as a “PEN” system works with the breakers i got and made it happen. Everything works now and my problem is solved ^^
