Hello BLUETTI community,
I currently have an AC300 with one B300 battery. I’m looking to expand my system capacity and wondering about compatibility.
My question - сan I add a B500K battery to my existing AC300+B300 setup? Will they work together in the same system?
I understand that B500K is officially compatible with AC300, but I want to confirm.
Will AC300 properly manage both B300 (3.072 kWh) and B500K (5.12 kWh) connected simultaneously? Are there any firmware requirements or limitations I should be aware of?
Do I need any special cables or adapters beyond what comes with B500K?
The AC300 is designed as a modular power station, which means it doesn’t have an internal battery and relies completely on external battery modules like the Bluetti B300 or Bluetti B500. You can connect multiple compatible batteries to expand your total capacity, which is great for longer backup times.
Hey, I’ve been looking into this setup recently too, so I’ll share what I found.
Short answer yes, you can add a B500K to your AC300 + B300 system, and it should work together.
From what’s officially documented, the B500K is compatible with AC300 and designed to integrate into the same ecosystem, so mixing expansion batteries is supported in general . Also, Bluetti’s own support mentions scenarios where mixed batteries (B300/B300K/B500K) can be used and monitored together, which confirms the system is built for that kind of expansion
