AC300 auto-resume for AC/DC outputs

Hello, wonder why I don’t have the option for the AC300 station to restart with the output ports to the state previous to an automatic shutdown (e.g. after complete depletion). I need to travel a great distance just to press a button (since I need to clear the depletion alarm message before activating the outputs again).

Also, even without this error code, I may have a wifi router connected to AC output. So, once battery is restarted this is not restarted so I am not able to remotely access the battery.

I know this is a safety measure, but other stations do have this option. Just give the option (at my own risk, if I know what I am using it for). Otherwise this makes the AC300 not suitable for remote power source without intervention.

Regards

Hi @licu, Currently, the AC300 indeed can’t fulfill this feature. Since the router also needs to be powered by the AC300, it’s not possible to remotely access the Bluetti app via WiFi to enable AC output during a power outage. Unfortunately, there’s no way to bypass the system’s settings and achieve this through software.
Our best recommendation is to connect the AC300 to solar panels to avoid a complete power loss.

However, our new model, the Elite 200 V2, does have this functionality, which we hope can be of assistance.

I’m in the same situation. I feel sure it’s possible in firmware but Bluetti stated somewhere it was due to safety issues? Maybe someone smarter than me can solve using a Arduino or Raspberry Pi plugged into the ac outlet to sense if it shuts down and then connect via bluetooth every 12 hours to switch it on if it has charged enough? This can be powered off a rechargeable source off the AC300 when powered and last several days when off. Just an idea.

Hi @Cpf, Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
Unfortunately, we don’t have a firmware that can bypass the machine’s inherent settings.

Your suggestion is worth considering. The issue with the Licu is that it requires power of the AC300 to turn on the Wi-Fi, and only then can the AC output be activated.

We believe a better approach would be to connect the solar panel or another power source to keep the machine powered. This way, it won’t affect the user experience.

Hi, yes, indeed that is my problem. And I do have solar panels to the stations. But there are sometimes 3-4 days of clouds and battery drains. I would want it to restart automatically at the next sunny day, without me driving 200km to the location.

I sometimes have the AC300 disconnecting from the router, but this is resolved by rebooting the router remotely. But I will also like to see from you some publicly supported API so we can automate all these (e.g. wifi connection lost → stop and start a certain AC output port, where I know the router is plugged in etc). Once you have a flexible API, the possibilities are endless.

Regards!
