I purchased a new B300, it arrived yesterday, thank you.
I noticed after plugging it in that the current version of the new battery (8/24) is different than the other 2-B300 batteries i originally purchased last year(11/23).
New battery (1) Version: v1021.11
Old batteries (2) Version: v1021.07
Do I need an update for the 2 older batteries to match the new battery?
Other than that they work great…discharging all down to zero as we speak to start fresh.
Thank you
If there are no issues, usually Bluetti won’t push the updated BMS firmware to your battery. It is a case of if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. I use the AC200L, B300 and B300K. And if it is currently working great, I recommend sticking to the firmware that you currently have.
Ran all three down to zero and off. Right now all three are charging up from zero/AC300 off.
One of the older ones, in fact both of the older ones are charging slower than the new one, at this point in time.
Example:
#1-new-87%
#2-old-74%
#3-old-60%
The two older ones are plugged into each other( and then in the lower receptacle) and the new single is on a separate receptacle (upper) on the AC300 inverter.
Just wondering if this is normal for new batteries. Originally i had one battery in one receptacle(lower), and one battery in the other receptacle(upper) on the inverter.
It is possible that the AC input into the AC300 would be split to each of the 2 battery connector ports, and then if you have 2 batteries in daisy chain, that they would then be split a bit more. I am not familiar with what the maximum charge rate is per port, but from reviews of the AC300+B300, it seems to charge a single battery at about 650W from the wall. So if all 3 batteries are being charged at the same time, the AC300 would have to split the charge across the 3 batteries, and I would not assume that they would be equally split anyway.
@LukeWarm
If there are no issues with the current version, I suggest continuing to use the original version of the software.
However, if you have specific requests, please provide the SN of the AC300, and I can have the tech team help you upgrade to the same version.
I would prefer to have the updated version, simply because I want to be able to compare apples between the old and the new batteries. Everything runs great, I am about 85% off grid, and I am very happy, but prefer to have the update.

Thanks.
