Issue 1: Weird Fan Behavior When the power usage hits around 100W, the fan starts acting up. It will run for a bit, then randomly stop for a few seconds, then start again. It’s also getting louder than it used to be. Right now, I’m trying to drain the battery to calibrate it, and the fan is just running non-stop, which seems weird.
Issue 2: Fast Battery Drain The battery is draining way too fast, especially when I’m using about 100W or more. Even though I’ve already tried to “calibrate” the battery (draining it to 0% and charging to 100%) multiple times since the firmware update, it’s still dropping way faster than it should.
Context:
- I updated all the software right after I unboxed the unit while it was at 75% charge.
- Calibration cycles have not fixed the “instant drop” from 100% to 99% or the fast drain under load.
Questions for Support:
- Why is the fan stopping and starting like that when I hit 100W?
- Is the fan getting louder a sign that it’s failing?
- Why is the battery still draining so fast even after I’ve done several calibration cycles?
