AC2A turns off at 100% charge

I don’t know if this behavior is correct, but the station shuts down when it reaches 100% charge, regardless of whether there is a load on it (AC/DC ports). At the same time, errors are visible on the screen and a clear click of the relay is heard.

Hi @kharlashkin, This does seem quite unusual.

We’d like to know if you have already connected to the Bluetti app. Please click the “!” icon in the top right corner to check for specific error codes.

Additionally, please provide us with the SN code and current firmware version of your AC2A. We’d like to attempt reproducing the issue.

That’s the problem, the station turns off, there are no errors in the application and the connection is broken.
At your request I just did a test, repeat and caught a new problem - when reaching 100% charge the station turned off the AC load ;) The relay clicked, but no error was displayed either in the application or on the station display.
Maybe they are two different problems or maybe they are related.

Hi @kharlashkin, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
This issue is indeed rare. Our R&D team is already working on reproducing the problem, and once it is successfully replicated, we will develop new firmware to address it.

We will reach out to you as soon as we have any updates.
I appreciate your kind understanding and patience.

I discharged the station to about 30% and then turned it on to charge and at 100% I got an error. The station did not shut down, maybe it did not shut down before - I do not use it much now after buying another more powerful one. Screenshots from the application.

As it turns out - a new user can only add one screenshot per post ;)

P.S. I definitely remember that it was turning off earlier, as I caught that moment with my phone (picture at the beginning of the thread).

Its like one of the cell is higher than the other when reaching 100%.

Have you tried to completely drain it to 0% a couple of time and then charge it ? Looks a cell balancing issue to me. If you drain it completely until it shut off by itself it would probably give a chance to the BMS to balance the cells while charging. You said yourself that you are not using it often…all points to a calibration issue.

Hi @kharlashkin, Based on the error code E074, we believe this AC2A may have a hardware issue. I am afraid that you will need to contact customer support to arrange for a repair service.
The US customer service email is service@bluettipower.com.

By the way, please note that if you need my assistance, please @BLUETTI_CARE, otherwise, I might not see your message and be able to help you promptly.

Hi @kharlashkin, We’d like to know if you’ve already contacted customer support. If so, could you provide the ticket number? We’d like to follow up on this matter further.

Our R&D team has discussed this issue and believes it may be related to the power source or load. Could you confirm whether the issue occurred while using a generator or the grid? If it was the grid, were you using a wall socket or a power strip?

Additionally, there appeared to be a load when the issue occurred. Could you provide specific details about the load?

Hi, sorry for the short silence.
So I tried to calibrate the battery - several times fully discharging/charging the station, each time to full shutdown and each time when reaching 100% charge the station shut down even without load.
I am inclined to think that you are right and it is a hardware problem and will contact the service.

Hi @kharlashkin, Thank you for letting us know.
We all hope the issue can be resolved as soon as possible.
If you have any questions about how to contact customer service or any feedback regarding their service quality, please feel free to message us.
We are more than happy to follow up on this matter.

I have already found an official service center in my country - I will take the station after the new year.
The station is almost not used because the main station is AC60P+B80P.

Hi @kharlashkin, Thank you for letting us know.
We hope everything goes smoothly from here!
Happy New Year!
