@snmya’s opinion is spot on. The AC240 focuses on waterproof and dustproof capabilities and can only expand with the B210 battery, which offers a smaller capacity.
We believe the AC200PL would be more practical as it is compatible with multiple battery models, including the new B300K, making it a more versatile option.
Please make your decision based on your actual needs. Both power stations are highly popular and excellent choices.
Just FYI: on the latest FW my station behaves the same as on previous FW and FW before that: same loop each minute, but fan speed is same, not high. That’s with ~20 ambient and 150-400W load.
Could it be that balcony worsens it for you, by adding humidity, for example?

Hi @Ukraine, Currently, the AC180 supports connecting with 1 of B80, B230, or B300 batteries.
However, both the B230 and B300 are currently out of stock. Therefore, we recommend opting for the B80 battery.
To connect B80 batteries, you’ll need the Aviation to DC7909 cable. Please make sure the batteries are in Power Bank Mode.
@Ukraine I want to emphasize, AC180 doesn not fully support extending with batteries like AC2xx do: in Power Bank mode, battery will not be charged by the station and needs to be charged separately.
