AC200PL charge speed is too slow

Hello support team.
Have a new ac200pl device.
It charges in 550w and does not matter what charge type I set.
But, if I manually switch off grid, turn off station and switch grid and station on, it begins to charge in correct mode.

Looks like device is up to date, but cannot get what is wrong.
So, it fully charges, and stay in ups mode for some time, then my grid off (power outage), then grid is on and it begins to charge 550w input

Thank you for assist

Hi @levchenko.alexander, We would like to confirm if you have selected the Silent Charging Mode? If so, it will limit the charging power. Also, what is the Max charging current of Grid set to?

Could you click on the Grid icon when the charging power is at 546W? This will allow you to check the actual input voltage, which will help us troubleshoot the issue.

Hi support team.
I have selected standard (default) charging mode
When I have spotted that it charges at 550w, I did double check. What is worse - the changing charge mode from application didn’t have any effect but I have seen the turbo icon on device display.
Then I decided to reboot the device and issue have gone. Until next power outage (in 3-4 hours actually).
Then it started to charge at 550w again.
For sure I have also checked grid voltage and it was 216v.
Then I have rebooted device again and swithed to turbo mode without issues.
Max current by default 10A. Didn’t change it.
So, the interesting thing that it becomes ok after reboot.
Thank you in advance.

P.S. first time I tried to reboot the device - it didnt react on switch button. Only manual taking out the wire from the socket helped. So it looked like a system hang. Next time it switched off (rebooted) by pressing button well.

P.S.S.
Just faced another issue during outage when ac output was 0 on display and application. But there was a load about 100 watts. Rebooted device and ac output shows normal values. But for small amout of time capacity decreased from 100% to 96%. After reboot all issues gone.

Ok. New screenshots, it happened again:

I can share access to device for you if it helps to solve the issue

P.S. please, take a look at the video below, where you can see how it happens

PS.S. And again, during outage, station showed 0 watt load until reboot.

The station input connected to special socket which gets electricity from system grid only.

The station’s output is connected to house grid through automatic backup switch. So the station’s AC button is always on.

Once outage occurs - station loses its input and automatic backup switch device switches to backup, the station becomes a backup for house.

When the system grid is on again - automatic backup switch device switches back, power station have its input for charge but AC still on.
While system grid is on - the station once per few hours may charge from 99% to 100% with low power and that’s seems ok.
This is how actually my power station operates.
Maybe this will shed some light on issue.

Hi support team. Have you any updates on issue?
Showing 0 watts output seems ok when load is too low.
But low charge speed issue looks like happens after loading from 99% to 100% when idle.
So please try to reproduce issue with steps:

  1. Turn on the station and put charge wire to socket (AC button is on without load)
  2. Let the station decrease capacity from 100% to 99% (this may take few hrs) and it will automatically begin to charge to 100%
  3. Remove charging wire from station and give some load to station, so it will discharge to (let’s say 85%)
  4. Remove load and start to charge the station.

Thank you in advance

I have exact same issue. Station takes around 600W from grid no matter what

Do you have power-lifting on all the time? I have read that it is for occasional use only.

in my case (AC00PL+B210P) powerlifting is off. DC and AC are off. In this scenario grid input power jumps between 150W-690W-980W-1.3KW in Turbo mode or Standard, doesn’t matter. Here how charing power input looks like during last 60min (SOC was 75-85 during this period)

Having exactly the same problem, after reset - it charges in correct power level. Any updates about this case?
Дякую пане Александр, якщо б не Ваш пост - вже повіз би станцію у сервіс.

Hi @maermegli, is your AC200PL also experiencing low AC charging power?
Please first upgrade all firmware to the latest version, then check if it is set to Silent Charging Mode – if so, switch it to Standard Charging Mode first.
Also verify if the Max charging current of Grid is set to an excessively low value.
When the issue occurs, could you let us know the SOC level, the device temperature, and whether any loads were connected at that time?
In addition, please provide the SN number and current firmware version of your AC200PL, and we will check if a new firmware is available.

Ok I think I understood the cause of this problem.
Seems the station charing input power depends on the input voltage. When Grid Self-adaptation mode is OFF and grid voltage is 190-205 the station charges at some minimum value (200-300W). Once you turn adaptation ON input power goes to max level.
It would be great to have some feature that will turn adaptation OFF once station is fully charged because adaptation feature slows the UPS switching time.

@Protspace Don’t forget to set Grid UV Protection from 80% to 65% so it could charge even at lower voltages.
Good idea having this feature on during charge from the grid only.
Though, I’ve never had any problems with increased ups time: 2 fridges (inverter and standard compressor), router/onu terminal, PC and TV - everything keeps going as usual, only desktop lamp flickers once. But maybe I’m biased.

Yep, thanks. I use default settings of Grid UV Protection which is 80%. For me it was enough )
In my case the PS5 console turns off when Adaptation is ON. So I believe it depends on the device
