AC200MAX won't charge after a few months off

I shut my AC200MAX off back in November, disconnected everything, and am now trying to restart it. The green LED is on but the battery didn’t take a charge from solar or the AC adapter (though the adapter fan runs when plugged in). If I turn it off and back on again the LCD comes on and says “initializing” for three or so seconds and then shuts off. I’ve done a reset but that didn’t seem to help (held the power button for 15 seconds, waited 5 minutes, and turned it back on). Any ideas?

This is the best advice I’ve seen on here, but I’m not sure what wall-mounted battery they are suggesting and don’t have a few days to wait around: Is there a fix or is my AC200 DEAD? - #16 by chapiinn

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. It sounds like your AC200MAX may have gone into over-discharge protection due to being stored for an extended period.

I recommend trying to charge it using solar panels for a while. Sometimes, this can help revive the battery if it has been in a deep discharge state.

If charging with solar doesn’t work, it may be that the battery has been too deeply discharged and might need further assistance.

Please let us know how it goes, and if you need additional help, feel free to reach out!
