Ac200max fan speed strange

I’m just next to one of my ac200max units and the fan started when I loaded it. Fine and normal, but then after a few minutes the fan started oscillating speed up and down in quick succession, almost like it was breathing. The first time I’ve experienced this. Is this normal??

Hi @Kingkong

As far im aware of the fan of the Unit is controlled mainly by its power output. Maybe you reached a certain value where the fan curve cant decide on which rpm they should run.

Can you tell what you load is during this happend? Maybe one of the Bluetti guys can have a look at it and maybe push a custom firmware to your machine. Your current firmware may also help.

Thanks
Erik

Thanks for the response Erik. In respect of the load which this happened, it was reading 1.7kw. I just checked the firmware on the unit in question and it is all up to date

Thanks again for the response

@Kingkong
This is normal. Once the discharge power reaches a certain value, the fan will start. The fan has two gears, low speed gear is one fan rotation, high-speed gear is two fans rotation.

Hello,

I assume both Fan are only turned on/off or does the AC200Max has PMW control?

@mini_PV AC200MAX does not have the PMW control function you mentioned.
