AC200Max - DC7909. 8mm 2-input 1-out power selector?

I was trying to figure out if there was a device out there that could auto switch power from a D050S (DC Enhancer) and a T500 (AC Adapter)?

During the day, I’d like to take advantage of using an D050S to capture that extra 500w of solar but when the sun goes down, I’d still want the T500 plugged in to charge via the grid. Both D050S and T500 connect via a DC7909 barrel plug (8mm?). Most importantly, I dont want to unplug and plug in the other adapter, would like this all automatically done.

I was looking for something similar to this:

But needed 8mm and high amps/voltage (15A, 50V for solar?, 500W AC/DC)

Has anyone come across something like this? Or even better a SMART Switch, where Home Assistant can turn off after a certain time and turn on the other, etc.

Why don’t you you use a diode and feed DC at a lower voltage (and current) ten what your solar panels make to the D050S input?

I had to look it up, basically you’re saying use a barrel plug (8mm) Y connector, add diodes between the adapter (D050S & T500) and the Y connector?

Just FYI, I would never have both 500W solar and 500W AC Charging adapters on at the same time.

Now that I think about it, would just a 8mm Y connector work?

I say at night you just power it over a solar input.
Uses a power supply with current limit and with lower voltage then your solar cells so it always prefers solar.
Uses Diodes (as “vale”) so you dont back feed power to your solar celles
