Hi there
Is this a known problem?
With solar input at 230watts (70VDC) the AC200Max wont charge any more.
It is summer here in NZ so temperature is 20degs C (68deg F)
Many thanks in advance.

Hi WJS,
Are you using the battery while charging?
Are you able to charge from the main?
AC200Max is no longer produced and in my humble opinion because so many problem whit it it was easier to discontinue than fix it. I have one so I know.
First of all the BMS built in is far from accurate in every angle.
Sometime it takes an hour for me to charge from 95% to 96% While the battery says it charging 468W.
It can not be true. The device simply lies.
In my theory it shows the amount of electricity receive but not what actually puting in. After 95% it start to tickle charging. And actually around 8W goes in to the battery itself. Not what is on the display.
I did so many checks and the results is almost the same.
Also the SOC can be off as much as 40%. (42% was my highest difference. How I know? because from 42% went to 0 in 2 minutes while only a raspberry was connected which collecting the battery status over Bluetooth.)
If you are able to change from ac I advice to connect something which draws constantly the same electric around 800-1000 W like a hoover. Drain the battery full till turn itself of. Wait half an hour and Charge back from the grid only. Make sure nothing else plugged in in this charging session. And only the device is on. (Need to be on to charge) DC and The inverter should be off.
You may need to repeat the process. To make sure the BMS is reset.
If the reset won’t help try bluetti support, however good luck. At least here in the UK it give a dam about the customer. They take the money than run.
I have an EB70 which the charging cable melted in to the charging port (from the main charger which came whit the battery so not solar cable before anyone guessing that scenario) and the response is out of warranty. The device next week heading for the Institute which checking electronic appliances. Let see what they will do when they need to issue a mass recall.
I hope my advice will help.

Thanks for the info OsTux.
I hope my unit isn’t going to be as troublesome as what you have experienced.
Thanks again.
