I am using the battery connected with the bluetti solar panel 350w, and it has been going well. Yesterday I saw the battery was at 94 percent but this morning it dropped to 0. As usual, I switched off the AC power when not in use, and connected with several low power devices, like mobile wifi router, small speaker, mottion activated light. I did not change anything/setting, and it has been working fine. Just not sure why it happened.
- May I have the SN and the firmware version of your AC200MAX?
- Please completely drain the battery until it automatically shuts down, and then charge it with AC until it is fully charged and automatically shuts down.
Welcome to the form @jfx it sounds like the bms just needs recalibrated
The best way to do it is charge to full from the mains with nothing else connected
Discharge at a steady rate without stopping until, it completely shuts down.
Then charge again to 100% again from the mains nothing else attached and you should be good to go.
I USUALY do this with all my bluetti every 3 months just to keep them calibrated. Hope this helps feel free to let me know how you get on or if you need any more help
Hi thanks for your reply. Please check the photo for SN and firmware info. I will try to do what you have suggested. In fact I have noticed the battery % shown on screen was somewhat jumping eg I connect it with a small fridge, after a couple of hours I saw the battery went down from 90 to 50% and sometimes I saw more power overnight and so I was a bit worry. I owned a Jackery pro 2000, it seemed I do not have this similar issue. Unfortunately it was being stolen.
Hi Ktt, thanks for the tips and I will do what you have suggested.
Hi, thanks for following up this.
After the battery has been drained, I charged it up with the ac charger connected to the wall plug. It took around 5 hours to 100% during the night.
Next day I connected the battery (without connecting the 350w solar panel) whole day with the fridge to drain the battery steadily. Before the dinner I noted the battery was at 3x%, around 30 minutes after the dinner I went back to the battery and it was off to 0%. So I redo the whole thing one more time started yesterday night charge up and now the battery stands at 8x% I keep the power for a short overnight trip tomorrow and I will monitor the steady drop in % until 0, especially watch out for sudden drop/ rise in battery % level.
Thanks, where and how do I get it?
@jfx You mean how to update the firmware, right?
Please log in with your account and connect via Bluetooth to check the new firmware.
I have tried to login on websites and on iPhone bluetti app, in both cases I do not see where is the formare update. Could you please try again? Thanks
Finally I can see the firmware upgrade button just now in my bluetti iPhone app. So I pushed the button. The upgrade takes just around 2-3 minutes, but it went through another roller coaster the battery level went down from 82% to 24% just after the upgrade. Similar things happened again for my last weekend trip it went from 3x% straight to 0%. I bought this battery in April, and until June I went out more often with the solar panel charging the battery, not sure why the battery % shown is not reflecting the real power. I am a bit worry about this even after I did the fully discharge and recharge process.
