AC200L not detecting B230 / nothing on the APP

Hi there,

I just received my AC200L and B230 but I’m struggling since 3 days because the AC200L does not detect the B230.

I followed every steps, everything is good, the little locks are ok once the expansion cable is plugged.

On the app, I have the AC200L on PACK 1, but nothing on PACK 2 or 3 but the B230 is well connected and it’s ON.

My version of AC200L is 2131,04.

What is the problem ? Dies it come from the expansion cable ? Or the AC200L ?

Thanks.

Clément

Hi @clenoble, Based on the screenshot, we see that the Parallel battery icon is greyed out, indicating that the connection cable and latch might not be properly secured. Could you please disconnect the cable and reconnect it?
Additionally, check if there are any updates available for the BMS version. If there are, please update it first.
Does this help?

Hello,

Thank you.

I tried several times to disconnect the cable but it didn’t work. The cable is properly secured with the 2 locks.

There is no update, it is the last version available.

I don’t get it, I don’t know what to do, the B230 is not available on the APP and the AC200L does not detect the B230.

What can I do ?

Thank you for the help,

Clément

I had the same problem on my AC200L and B210. There is a blue button to the left of the one that disconnects the cable. It must be slid in to the “locked” position for everything to work. Not sure if you tried that yet.

Hi, yes i tried, it’s on the instructions! But it is still not working.

Hey @clenoble

welcome to the bluetti community forum!

As mentioned before, i think the issue here is the connection with the thick cable. When i have a closer look at the picture, the cable doesnt seemed to be fully in. The blue nose, that should click in is still visible and im really sure, even you lock it, you still can pull the plug.

When put it in, you should hear a click and afterwards you can secure it with the other button.

greetings
Erik

Hello Erik,
Thanks for the help,
It’s bien almost a week since i try to put the plugs in every position.

What I might suggest would be if you could make a short video that could be useful for us to help, and for Bluetti Support to view also, and upload it to a site like YouTube. I would suggest starting from everything turned off with cable unplugged. Then show close-ups of each connector getting plugged in and locked, then powering up the AC200L, and then the B230 battery, and then the display of the AC200L.

This way some of us can look at the process, and maybe we notice something. But also this way Bluetti Support can view the video and determine if there is an issue that they need to take care of for you.

Hi @clenoble, We suspect there may be an issue with the connecting cables. We recommend reaching out to the seller for support.

Additionally, please note that if you need my assistance, please @BLUETTI_CARE, otherwise, I might not see your message and be able to help you promptly.

Hi @BLUETTI_CARE and everyone

I made a video so everyone can see the problem :

Bluetti sent me an other connecting cable and the problem is the same.

I don’t know what is wrong ?? maybe the B230 or the AC200L ?

Thank you

Hi @clenoble, I have consulted this problem with our engineer, and he suggests you charge the AC200L and B230 separately to 100% and connect them again.
Meanwhile, our colleague told me he has gotten in touch with you and arranged to repair it, is that so? We suggest you try it before repairing it.
