AC200L IOS app Cloud login not working

The IOS app for my AC200L will disconnect from the cloud on a consistent basis when I’m away from my home network. I’ve reported the issue to @Bluetti who wants me to return the 65lb battery for an app issue.

Has anyone experienced the IOS app disconnecting then only allowing a reconnection via Bluetooth?

Hi @User2589

What is the exact error?

  • When connected your iPhone to home network and your AC200L to home network, it does work?
  • When switching iPhone to mobile data it stops working or have part time failure?

In this case, its not the unit fault, there must be something with the reliability of the mobile network. The data is send to a cloud, it doesnt matter where you access it as long you have a active internet connection.

Sometimes, when you have bad mobile data, the blue cloud is showing in the App, but without any data. In this case, reopen the App and try to make the cloud connect.

Nothing Bluetti or us can do at this point

    greetings
    Erik

Hi @User2589, It looks like you have already contacted our customer service team. Is that correct?
Could you please provide us with your service ticket number so that we can follow up on this matter?

The Bluetti app can only sync cloud data when connected to Wi-Fi. We recommend keeping your Wi-Fi connection active to ensure you receive the latest data.

Special thanks to @Selfmadestrom for their concern and assistance on this issue.

Erik,

When connected your iPhone to home network and your AC200L to home network, it does work? - Yes

When switching iPhone to mobile data it stops working or have part time failure? - No, the app will lose it’s connection to the Bluetti cloud. When trying to login again using “Cloud” the authentication prompt is “Bluetooth” which obviously doesn’t work.

This cell carrier is Verizon, coverage is excellent in my area. The underlying issue is the authentication the app uses. It only prompts for Bluetooth authentication and not Cloud. If the default connection mode is Cloud then the authentication should be Cloud or there is a mis-configuration in the IOS app.

My Bluetti support ticket is 258981

All I have something embarrassing to share. It was my corporate firewall that was blocking the connection to the Alibaba cloud. Opened the port and now it works.

Good to know. Because the a error on bluetti side does only make sense when its not available in general. Thanks for the update

Hi @User2589, I’m glad to hear that the issue was resolved after authorizing the firewall. I have shared this great news with Kitty.
