Hi all!
I am considering to purchase the AC200L. I dont know much about electrical systems (just enough to know what I dont know ;) ).
I was reading through the specs of the AC200L and saw that there is now a 48V DC outlet…
I was planning to use this outlet to power my existing 12V system in the Van (lights, some chargers, already connected Diesel heating system ecc.). While I would obviously need to check the power requirements and maybe reconnect some systems to other outlets of the Bluetti AC200L, I dont know how to handle the 48V outlet when I would need 12V… I am living in Switzerland and I am looking at the EU version of the Bluetti homepage.
The AC200L would be perfect. I could hook it up to the battery charger of the car to charge it while I am driving, switch to my solar power when I am fixed in place. Hook my dometic fridge to the 12 V DC cigarette lighter outlet and then have an extra DC outlet available for the rest of my 12V consumers in the Van.
Any ideas? If someone has a better view on the topic and can repropose a different system, I am open to ideas.
Thank you and hoping in the power of the comunity,
Peter
Hello @Bateson ,
The AC200L is a great power station. It does include the usual 12 volt 10 amp cigarette lighter output port. As you noted, there is also a 48 volt 8 amp accessory port, and that is for the Bluetti D40 accessory.
The D40 is used for battery charging (ie: the house battery), or can be used to directly power 12 volt devices instead of charging batteries. To me it seems like what you need to power your van’s 12 volt circuits, including your fridge.
You might also want to look into the Charger 1 accessory for charging the AC200L instead of using a cigarette lighter from the van, as it can charge by up to 560 watts while your driving.

Hey man. I am going to use the D40 with my ac200l to charge the house lithium battery, my assumption is that the trailer house battery runs all of my 12v panel. By charging the battery my dc refrigerator run time will be substantially extended. I have a monitor so I can watch the charge status and adjust the time I run the battery bank, suoolemnet with solar when possible. I also turn off the converter as I plug the trailer into the 30A plug on the blunting. At least that is my plan if my assumptions are correct! Any comments are welcome. Dennis
