AC 200 Max will not power on. The green light on the power button is on but screen is not loading up, nor can I connect to it with the app. If I plug it into the wall or solar panels the power button lights up, but I can’t hear any sound emanating from the unit at all. I did nothing different today than every other day. Plugged in cables from panels to pv in and also plugged in D050s just like I do every day, nothing is different. Power station is in the same spot as usual. Mid day I tried to connect to the app with my phone and was not seeing it on my bluetooth list and when I went to the unit the screen would not come on. Thats when I realized the power station was no longer on, only the power button was on.
When you plug the AC-DC adapter into your AC200max (and your AC200max is on) does the adapter LED stay green? or does it turn red ?
Hi @Rplnpty, When the ambient temperature is too low or the machine is excessively discharged, it can be difficult to charge or power on. Thanks to @Snips1 for the helpful advice and suggestions.
We would like to know the environmental temperature where your AC200MAX is located. Could it be too cold for the unit to start? Please place it in a warm indoor area, or try using a hairdryer to gently preheat the ventilation ports to see if that helps.
When you mentioned using solar panels to charge, could you provide the specific model and specifications of the solar panels? Also, try charging it for a longer period—does that make a difference?
We await your feedback.
Sorry I never responded. I have been putting this off long enough so now its time to face this and get it fixed. No. When I plug the AC adapter into the Bluetti the light on it stays green and does not turn red. I tried 2 separate chargers since I also have the 200p. Both chargers work fine in the 200p but in the 200MAX the light stays green. Also, in my original post I stated when I plug it into AC the power button light comes on but no it does not. It does come on when I plug in solor panels though, but screen does not come on at all.
The 200MAX has always been kept inside my house at ambient temperature, none of my units have ever been outside at all. I normally charged the 200MAX with PV using these solar panels in a qty of 4 wired in series: Grape Solar Model GS-STAR_100W, Voc 23.1V, Imp5.23. I only use 4 because of limited space and sun on that side of my place. I was also using the D050s charging enhancer in the AC input with a single panel on the other side of the house Model HQST-190D, 190W, Voc 24.3V, Imp 9.36A. This happened back in late August, early September so its been awhile. It’s time for me to face this problem and get it resolved, its not going to fix itself
Hi @Rplnpty, It seems that neither AC nor PV charging is able to wake up your AC200MAX. We believe you will need warranty service.
Could you please send us your order number and email address via private message? We will then arrange for further assistance.
Thank you for your response. How do I respond to you in a private message? Sorry I’m not too familiar with this forum stuff. Should I just go to the website and do a warranty claim/repair request? Please help me I appreciate your assistance and guidance on what I need to do.
