AC180P: surges in the network, but no errors

It so happened that my computer is connected to the EnerGenie EG-UPS-035 2000VA (1200 watts) UPS. AC180p is used as a backup power supply for the apartment. When the apartment is powered by AC180p, there are no problems, but if I start to turn on my computer or the EnerGenie UPS, the voltage spikes are fixed. I see these jumps because I have a voltage relay. Jumps can be both to a larger side and to a smaller one (80 or 270 volts at a nominal 230 volts).

After starting the computer, everything works perfectly. But I’m worried about this question because I can’t find an answer as to why this is happening.

AC180p does not detect any errors. If you go to the settings, E000 is displayed there.

Hi @Serge1, It looks like the AC180P is not malfunctioning, it’s operating normally, and E000 indicates that there are no errors.

We believe that the voltage spike problem you mentioned is related to the load. When a load is just turned on, a sudden surge in power can cause momentary voltage fluctuations, especially when starting high-power devices. This is a normal situation and nothing to worry about.
