AC180P Error E070 & E071 - BMS version is blank in the app. Help!

Hello!
My AC180P suddenly showed errors E070 and E071. In the BLUETTI app, the BMS firmware version is completely blank.
Device Details:
ARM: v2074.07
DSP: v2078.06
I have already tried to restart the unit, but the communication with the battery is still lost. Can you please help me restore the BMS communication?

Update on my issue:
Still no response from @BLUETTI_Care.
Some additional technical details to speed up the process:
When I turn the unit on, it displays 100% battery charge for about 30 seconds.
I can run a 75W load steadily during this time, which confirms the inverter and cells are functional.
After ~30 seconds, it consistently triggers E070/E071 and the BMS version goes ‘blank’ in the app.
All battery cells are perfectly balanced (3.331V - 3.338V).

The E07x codes are related to issues with the inverter. According to this post by BLUETTI_CARE, code E071 means: “inverter group communication failure.”


Although the exact meaning of code E070 is still not entirely clear, it is most likely a communication error between the BMS and the inverter.

It might be a good idea for Bluetti to compile all error codes into a single document and publish it on the Bluetti website and forum. At the moment, users must search through multiple manuals to find the correct codes. Additionally, some error codes are used more than once; this creates confusion because identical codes can represent different causes, descriptions, and solutions.

Hi @vetal-19, to resolve this issue, please disconnect all loads from the AC180P and restart it.
Does the app still show an error when there is no load connected?
If so, the problem cannot be fixed via a firmware update.
Please conatct the seller, and we will arrange warranty service for you.

Since the unit is in Ukraine, a warranty return is extremely difficult. I am 100% sure this is a firmware communication hang-up. Please push the latest BMS and DSP firmware to my Serial Number (visible in the screenshot). Let’s try the firmware fix first.Thank you for your support!”

We can see that your AC180P has received the latest IOT and ARM updates, but the upgrade button is not showing. Please make sure the device is bound and connected via Bluetooth, and avoid using offline mode, as this will prevent updates.


We would be happy to push the latest BMS and DSP firmware for you. Could you tap the SOC icon to check the current BMS version? We will push them together afterward.

I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. If the new firmware is available, they will complete the push within 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
After that, please recalibrate the system.
