I’ve had DC charging problems with 3 AC180 units. 110v AC charging works fine. My two DC plugs from 12v DC Battery and 24v DC from Solar will not charge. Previously on two units the DC input plugs worked at first but became increasingly loose and required some jiggling to establish a connection. New unit received yesterday will not charge on DC. multimeter shows 12v from battery. and 21v from partially shaded solar at the input plug tip. Neither will Charge. I did a factory reset on the App, no improvement. I could not find a “Firmware Upgrade” on the App. I’ve read a post that suggests there can be a failure to recognize an input voltage that results in a failure to start charging. I’ve seen Internet videos removing the AC180 input DC input socket and soldering in a more robust type of input socket but this requires unit disassembly and some soldering skills. Anybody else having a similar DC charging problem? Any solutions? Thanks.
Hi @Dwight, It seems that the DC interface of the AC180 is loose, which results in the inability to charge.

We will take responsibility for this and arrange a warranty service for you. Please do not disassemble the device and perform soldering work on your own. I have been in touch with Bluetti technicians and have sent requested videos and photos to show the problem. They seem to be focussing on firmware updates and I’m really hoping that is the problem. I’m awaiting their response to my latest submission. I must say they have been incredibly responsive to all my concerns.
