When I charge my phone, it only accepts 10 watts. Should it use more? Pixel 8 pro.
To add, my laptop took 90 watts, so maybe because my phone was at more than 80% is why it only charged at 10 watts.
@ScottGibson Yes, it may be because your phone was at more than 80%. You can test when the phone battery is low.

how much power the USB-C is providing is controlled by the device. Especially iPhones tend to charge really slow when they nearly full, so it think this is a normal behavior with the Pixel too.

Called adaptive charging on my pixel 7 pro. You’ll see it when you’re charging on the display where it says how much until full.
It’s so it prolongs the life of the battery with high charge rates at high speed.
