I was hoping to use this to backup a refrigerator but sad to find out it doesn’t recover the AC switch if the unit shuts down. If the power comes back while the fridge is hooked up, the fridge won’t receive power which defeats the purpose of using this.
Is it possible to receive a firmware update to enable this feature? I understand the risks.
Also, is it possible to enable “Time Control UPS” options for the AC180? Thank you.
Hi @powercharge, The AC180 now has new firmware available that enables the “remember output Settings” feature.
If you would like this feature, please provide your AC180’s SN number and current firmware version.
Please note that after the update, this feature will be enabled by default and cannot be turned off.
Also, please note that the AC output will only activate when the battery’s level is more than 5%.
When grid power is available, the output settings will resume as soon as the battery reaches 5%.
When grid power is unavailable, the output settings will only resume if the battery reaches 5% and the output has remained off for at least 30 minutes.
Additionally, if your Bluetti app has been updated to version 2.3.10, you’ll need to input the password 88888888 to enable this feature.
The AC180 does not support Time Control Mode and only operates in Standard UPS Mode.
In this mode, the system is designed to maintain the state of charge (SOC) at 100% at all times. It is primarily intended for use as a backup power system, with AC charging and bypass allowed at all times by default.
Hi @powercharge, Thank you for your confirmation.
Yes, we have received your message and applied the new firmware for you. We will follow up on this matter.
My AC180 version is 2.3.17. does that mean my unit has this ac switch recovery function now?
and. where do I find the serial number on the unit?
thank you,
John,
Calif.
Hi @DJR, I’m sorry. I was on vacation a few days ago, so I wasn’t able to reply to your message in a timely manner.
We are more than happy to push the latest firmware for you. Before that, could you please confirm whether the ARM versions of these AC180 units are all the same, specifically ARM v2074.07?
Then we will push the new firmware for you.
Also, please note that AC output will only activate when the battery’s level more than 5%.
Regarding the AC70, for some models, the latest firmware can be pushed to enable the “remember output Settings” function. Please upgrade the Bluetti app to the latest version and provide the SN code and the current ARM version. Then we will check whether we can push the firmware for you.
Hi @ptuner101, We can push the new firmware to your AC180 to enable the AC output recovery function.
Please log in to the Bluetti app, enter the Setting interface, obtain the complete SN code from the top, and then click on Firmware Upgrade to get the firmware information. Please refer to the screenshot for reference.
Hi @DJR, Thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
We have pushed the latest ARM v2124.70 to your four AC180 units. Please test them after the upgrade and inform us of the test results.
As for the AC70, we have found that there is no corresponding new firmware available for pushing, and the function of saving settings cannot be achieved. We are sorry that we can’t help you with this.
Thanks @BLUETTI_CARE
It has now been several hours since you posted the above statement, but still no updates appear on any of the 4 AC180’s.
Can you look into what has happened.
Just confirming that the AC70 is unable to be upgraded as I thought I read on this forum elsewhere that somebody received a firmware update to include this feature?
