As the title implies, I’m having trouble with my AC180 that I purchased two months ago. It starts at 100%, goes down normally to about 47% then 0%
I tried the recalibrating techniques shown on a few videos where I discharge with nothing plugged in at a steady rate, charge back to 100% with nothing plugged in just the power from ac to 100%
I did this a few times but every time and still now at 47~% it goes to 0%
I checked my Bluetti app and my firmware says up to date.
First suggestion is to do a capacity test. If you have a digital AC power meter (pretty cheap to buy)’
Plug in a known constant load and check the Watt hours/total watts drawn on the power meter.
The AC180 has an 1152Wh battery, it’s rated capacity after efficiency/internal electronics loss is 0.9 of 0.85 of 1152 = 881Wh. Anything around or better than that then the battery is ok.
It would help if you note what you are powering and if AC or DC when the drop off occurs.
Hi @Mortusnyte, Could you please provide your SN code and BMS version?
I agree with @Mandp’s suggestion. We’d like to know what device you’re using for discharge and the discharge power level.
If it’s a high-power discharge, it may lead to inaccurate results. We recommend using a low-power DC device instead.
If you still need assistance, please contact our customer service team, and we’ll arrange further support for you.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve been discharging at a constant 150w and charging on standard mode.
I contacted customer service and have been doing further testing from that end. Ultimately it seems that the unit will get replaced.
