@BLUETTI_CARE
Hi everyone,
Looking for help diagnosing a persistent issue with my Bluetti AC180, which arrived brand new on April 26, 2025 (purchased via Amazon). The unit is displaying multiple red warning indicators on the screen even when there’s nothing plugged in or drawing power. I’ve:
- Powered it off completely (twice)
- Left it unplugged overnight
- Confirmed no external load is connected
When powered back on, the same red indicators reappear immediately.
Additional details:
- I tested with shore power (AC wall input) — the unit does take a charge, but the red warnings remain.
- While charging, the screen glitches badly, jumping around erratically and becoming unstable.
- Once charging is disconnected, the screen stabilizes but stays fully lit with red warnings — no actual improvement.
- I connected a light load, and the lights powered on normally, even with the warning screen lit.
- There’s no abnormal power drain — just a persistent error condition with visual instability under charge.
- Firmware is up to date, confirmed via the Bluetti app.
Usage history:
- A set of lights drawing 330W
- A second set of lights drawing 589W
- An exhaust fan that spikes to 880W at startup, then runs at 340W
- A solar panel input at 350W during daytime charging
Nothing else has been connected or run.
Additional background:
Last month, the unit began reporting usage incorrectly and draining much faster than expected, even under light load. I performed a full drain to 0%, then a full recharge, and that appeared to correct the issue — temporarily.
This is especially concerning because I’ve already placed orders for the following Bluetti gear:
2× APEX 300 Power Stations
2× B300K Expansion Batteries
1× Hub D1
1× Bluetti Solar X 4K Charging Enhancer
1× Efficient Solar Charging Kit
Now I’m seriously questioning reliability — especially if this kind of issue is possible right out of the box and there’s no clear resolution path.
I’ve reviewed the manual and the app, but there’s no explanation for this error state or how to clear it. Power cycling hasn’t helped.
Has anyone experienced this?
Is there a known fix, hard reset procedure, or firmware reflash I can try? Or does this need to go straight to Bluetti support?
Thanks in advance for any help or insight.
