AC180 8A Limitation and Possibility of Using a 36v Step Up Converter to Charge From 100ah Battery

I understand from looking at posts here on the forum that the Bluetti AC180 limits the input amps to 8a at 30v or less. I don’t have a problem with that, since my two 100w panels wired in series produces 40v. However, I have a 100ah LifePO battery that I would like to use in charging the Bluetti at night when needed, or possibly supplement during the day. Can I install a 12v to 36v step up converter in the connection between battery and AC180, and will that likely allow the 180 to accept 10a from the battery?

@drwho2 Yes you can add an extra step-up converter.
