AC 180 No Charge

My AC180 purchased last November, will not charge with AC or DC. It starts up for 2 seconds and shuts down. I have kept the 12v charge in over night with no help. I have emailed support but no response yet. Has anyone else had this issue and found a resolution?

Your AC180’s behavior is consistent of that of an extremely over discharged battery. Generally they need a controlled low-current source to soft start the unit back up. Like 12V/3A. A standard 12V cigarette lighter output is not regulated so it will always try to pump 10A of current which is too much. Bluetti always recommends this technique but it never works because it is not a controlled low-current recharge. Think of it like a Math teacher who is writing down things on a chalkboard explaining things faster than you can comprehend. If its too much you just shut down. If you have a small enough solar panel (100-200W) try to fold away as much as the panels as possible to simulate a low-current recharge. Try it on an overcast day for example so you can get a low current recharge. If that works, all you would need to do is simply charge it up enough until it can be topped off via turbo charging from a wall source. If not, your only option is sending to Bluetti to manually reset/fix the battery.
