Hey Everyone. I am wondering if anyone has successfully used an 80V battery from Kobalt yard tools to recharge the AC180. I am due to get my AC180 in mid to late March and since I already have 4+ of these batteries I was wondering if anyone here has successfully used them to recharge the AC180. It looks like the max input to the solar port is 36V so I do not know if it is possible? I am a Bluetti newbie but am relatively efficient with technical tasks so I think I could add xt60 or 90 connectors etc. If anyone here has tips or a walk through it would be greatly appreciated as I want to get the most from my AC180 without buying additional batteries if I already have a good additional source. Thanks.
I know my AC180 can take up to 60v, but that still not high enough to handle the 80v. You might try a DC-DC converter.
I’m not really recommending this one since I’ve never used it, but its the first one to show up in a google search and it’s an example of what I’m talking about. It takes 24v - 90v input, and lets you adjust the output from 2.5v to 50v.
Your batteries may not add that much each, but I guess it could do in a pinch.

Another option, if your willing to modify the case of your kobold batteries, Greenworks 80v has a 300W AC inverter. 80V Cordless Battery 300 Watt Power Inverter (Tool Only)
Hey Emax, thanks. Kobalt also has one of these (because kobalt is made by Greenworks) for about $104. I was just hoping that i could daisy chain them in someway that i would get more than 300 watts output.
The Kobalt inverter is a modified sine wave, not pure sine wave. The AC180 does have a Grid Enhancement mode, which might help. I don’t remember how much power it draws in “Silent” mode, hopefully it’s <= to 300W of the inverter.
