I have two goals for my 3 Apex system. I started out wanting back up power for my home until I discovered the peak shaving option, which I definitely want to use. Initially I wasn’t planning on using solar as it had been banned by my HOA. Through research I found out that the State of Missouri passed a law blocking HOAs from banning the use of solar power. Any solar I get will be limited as I’m sure it will be limited to my 12’ x 10’ deck.
I initially thought I had to use the Bluetti’s AT1, but then was told by Bluetti that the AT1 is really for solar, so I cancelled that order. There is very little info out about the AT1, so I don’t know if there’s a minimum amount of solar required to use the AT1. If I don’t need to use it, will any automatic transfer switch work with the system for peak shaving? Since I will probably only be able to have 6-8 solar panels, I am thinking it will probably be best just to run them through all 3 units.
Thanks for any advice or knowledge you can offer!
