Seeking “manufacturer’s certification” for tax credit

Hi all,
US IRS tax form 5695 Residential Energy Credits instructions indicate:

Manufacturer’s certification.
For purposes of taking the credit, you can rely on the manufacturer’s certification, in writing, that a product is qualifying property for the credit. Don’t attach the certification to your return. Keep it for your records.

This would be relevant for an installation of Apex300 with an expansion battery, for example, to reach the required storage capacity for the credit, under “Qualified battery storage technology”.

I’ve searched, unsuccessfully, for such a Bluetti manufacturer’s certification on this topic.
Can anyone point me to or provide the certification?

Thanks!

I was under the impression that all we needed was to exceed the 3,000 wh storage capacity to qualify for the credit.

Thanks - I agree 3,000 wh is the technical requirement for the credit for battery storage technology.

Qualified battery storage technology costs.
Qualified battery storage technology costs are costs for battery storage technology that is installed in connection with your home located in the United States and has a capacity of at least 3 kilowatt hours.
(from Instructions for Form 5695 (2025) | Internal Revenue Service)

Further in the instructions for that section, we see:

So I’m trying to get the (Bluetti) manufacturer’s certification. Thanks!
