Replace fan bluetti elite 100 v2

Dear @55j
Can I ask you a few questions:

  1. Why didn’t you use the connector that came with the Noctua fan?
  2. Do you have a 12V Noctua fan?
  3. Are you sure you didn’t accidentally mix up the wires on the connector (the wiring diagram for the 4-pin connector is below)
  1. The connector on the Noctua fan is a standard motherboard 4 pin fan (Molex 2510 or KK series) which is NOT the same connector on the Bluetti Elite board (JST HY 2.00 mm pitch, like I said in my post).
  2. It is a 12 V fan.
  3. I originally did mix up the tachometer & PWM pins, but corrected that, and the error still occurred.

Done same swap for Noctua fans. Made a lot of tests. After few minutes error appears anyway - seems like they are not efficient enough. Ended up using “Noctua noice reduction wires” that stock fans. Those “wires” came up with Noctua fans and basically just additional resistors to slower fans.
Stock fans do not rotate smoothly by hand. Some people are lucky with decent fans, but not me.

Сергей, после подключения через адаптер ошибка осталась или нет?

Noctua fans = error
Noctua fans + Noctua silent adapters = error
Stock fans + Noctua silent adapters = no error
Adapters don’t make fans much quieter.
I would suggest to look for fans that have about the same current consumption - maybe then “brains” of the station would not reject them. But i will not be doing this test - i put station in other room.
