PV60F solar panel performance?

I use the 60w Solar panel PV60F with my Handsfree 1 all summer and never got it to generate more than 32w on my balcony at various angles. Just not good enough. I would have bought two but it’s not viable for such low output. I also have 100w and 200w Nicesolar solar panels for the balcony and I got as much as 174w out of the 200w solar panel.

Hi Tim, Bluetti did replace the panel and I saw some improvement. I don’t think it ever gets much above the low 40s though, even when angled perfectly and in full sun. It’s ok for topping up the smaller batteries, but I find it’s not possible to fully recharge in an afternoon like with my other 60w panels. I also have the Nicesolar 200w panels, mine are the ones that fold up both ways like the PV60F. I bought them as a total guess as at the time I had no experience with solar charging at all, but I am very happy with them. I get similar results to you with them with my EB70 /PS72. I really like the design of the Nicesolar as they fold up so small for transport and storage. That design seems to be out of production now which is a shame.

That does sound a bit underwhelming to be honest. You’ll rarely hit the full rated 60W in real-world conditions, but if another 60W panel is giving you 50W+ in the same setup while the PV60F is stuck around 30–35W, it does suggest it may be underperforming. Could be the panel itself, cable losses, or the controller efficiency — worth checking connections first, but your comparison sounds pretty telling.
