EP500Pro AC Charging interrupt

Hey guys!

Just try to charge my HomeBackup EP500Pro this morning by the AC Outlet of the AC200L and every like 30 seconds, the relay clicks and interrupt charging. After 2 - 3 Seconds it proceeds.

I try also other AC sources with the same behavior. The AC input voltage is between 230V - 240V and it doesnt matter how much current i select.

Any solution for this?

Thanks
Erik

Hi Erik, Thank you for providing those helpful details about your EP500PRO. Since the unit isn’t showing any error codes, we can confirm it’s functioning properly.
To help us investigate the AC200L’s potential role in this issue, could you please share the AC200L’s SN number and current firmware version?

Additionally, when you mentioned using “other AC power sources,” did that include your home grid connection? This information could help us identify any compatibility factors.

Once we have these details, we’ll be able to provide more targeted troubleshooting steps or determine if a firmware update/service might be needed.
We appreciate your patience as we work through this together.

Dear @BLUETTI_CARE

Other AC Sources are, as you mentioned, the home grid connection. It really doesnt matter, which AC cable (have three of them) or which source of AC im using.

I did found something in the meanwhile, that could be the problem. The AC Input have three pins. While the two pins, that are on the upper site didnt move when touching, the single pin under the both seems to be a bit loose. I assume this kind of weak connection produce the disconnection issues.

I checked my other both EP500Pro and the pins on them are not that loose.

Would that be something that can be fixed with a warranty repair?

Erik
