B230 charge level

I’m really struggling with the B230.

Ma B230 is connected to the AC200MAX with cable P090D, classic.

I have problems with the B230’s load level indication
I have repeatedly made a cycle discharge/ charge on wall of the B230.

While it is charged via solar panel and D050S for several days, in the morning when I turn it on, it shows only one charge LED.
Connected to the AC200MAX this on show me a load for the B230 of 7%.

I have a big doubt, it should be charged to 80% minimum.

I then decide to turn everything off and disconnect the P090D cable.

By turning on the B230, I see that 4 LEDs are fixed and only the fifth blinks (solar load) and therefore, the indicated charge would be 80%.

What’s wrong with the 200MAX or the B230?
What can I do?

For information:

ARM V4008.03
DSP V4005.08
BMS V1017.03.

Serial AC200M 2226000680893

Thanks fro all

You don’t have the latest updates.
See below for my AC200Max and B230.

I had the same problems as you, and the update fixed everything for me.

If you still don’t have the latest versions after updating via the app, ask @BLUETTI_CARE
ARM V4008.06
DSP V4005.08
BMS V1017.07
HMI 6037.03

BMS1 1018.02

If it still doesn’t work, you can take a look at this post where I give workarounds that worked for me (solutions that I no longer need since Bluetti pushed a special update to fix the problem.) : B230: Is firmware upgrade even possible? - #2 by Snips1

Hi snips1, thanks for your help, i will try that. I have no update proposal with app.

So @BLUETTI_CARE could you help me with a firmware update for my AC200MAX Serial AC200M 2226000680893 ??

Thanks

Hi @wyse, It seems that the SOC(State of Charge) difference in your B230 before and after the restart is quite significant. We have a BMS firmware update that can fix this issue.

We have applied to upgrade your BMS. Our IT department will push the latest version of firmware to your machine in 24 hours. Please upgrade it tomorrow.
Please note that when upgrading the firmware, disconnect the AC200MAX from the B230 and upgrade the AC200MAX separately, and do not load any device when upgrading it.

After that, please try to do a complete cycle of discharge and charge to correct the SOC. The problem will be resolved.
Please follow the steps below to recalibrate it:

  1. Please discharge all the power (charge AC & DC appliances with the power station) until the SOC is 0%, turn off the machine, and leave it for 3 hours till it cools down.
  2. Please charge it again. Please do not load any device when charging it, and do not interrupt it while in charging.

You can click this link for reference.

Please let us know if it does help.

Thanks to @Snips1 for the helpful explanation and sharing. It’s very useful.

Hi, thanks for your help, and thanks to Snips1.
Waiting for the upgrade tomorrow, and I will upgrade and recalibrate it.
Back for feedback tomorrow.

Hello, I have not received anything at the firmware update level.
I am well-connected with the latest version APP, but the Upgrade tells me that I am up to date.

We’ll see about that on Monday.
Have a good weekend

I received the firmware update, and I installed it without problem.

I am in the phase of total discharge, full recharge, waiting 24 hours, which I have not finished.

Then I will reconnect the two batteries and do a few days of tests to confirm.

Thanks for help, back for feedback in a few days.

Hi @wyse, Thank you for letting us konw.
We hope everything goes smoothly from here!
Please feel free to contact us if you need our help.

Good and well for me, the problem seems solved.
The load level of the B230 is consistent, so it’s perfect.

I notice a small novelty, now the B230 and the AC200MAX unload at the same speed, whereas before the B230 unloaded first. I prefer this new function.

Thank you to

Thank you @Snips1 & @BLUETTI_CARE for helping

Hi @wyse, Thank you for the update — we’re really glad to hear that the issue has been resolved!
It seems the new firmware is performing quite well. I’ve also shared this good news with the R&D team.
