However, the app adaptation is not yet ready. After upgrading the firmware, you will need to wait until the app is completed next month and upgrade to the latest version of the app before the function can be enabled.

I do not see a firmware update on my AC70, but after updating the app today, I now see something called “system switch recovery” that can be activated. “If you like the system to restore its last output on/off status upon restart, enable this option”. This looks like exactly what I’ve been looking for. I’ve enabled it will report back. I don’t know what enabled it, whether this is a app update or not. I am running ARM v2082.13 and DSP v2085.06
This option should really be available (and likely default on) for all Bluetti units acting as UPS.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work. Even though I was able to enable “system recovery switch” from the app, when the AC70 ran out of power, and I plugged the grid input back in, the AC output didn’t re-enable even though the AC70 was charged to at least 25%. When I check on the app, the “system recovery switch” setting is back to off. I’ve done this 2x already and the same thing happened. It seem that the AC70 didn’t remember that “system recovery switch” has been enabled when it powers down due to lack of charge.
@BLUETTI_CARE Can you help me out with this? We are soooo close…

Hi @snowstorm, We’re very eager to help you and have already forwarded your feedback to the R&D team. They’ve informed us that a new firmware will be developed to enable the System Recovery Switch feature.
However, this may take some time and is expected to be ready by the end of July. Please feel free to reach out to us to obtain the update.
Are three 2 different versions of the AC70?
It seems there are customers where their AC70 is currently working with “system recovery switch” but mine isn’t (despite being visible in the app). I am using ARM v2082.13 and DSP v2085.06. Are you saying that Bluetti is working on a firmware for the remaining versions of AC70 which is currently not compatible with “system recovery switch”? Please do prioritize this as it is a critical capability of a UPS.
Hi @snowstorm, We’ve already developed the corresponding firmware for the AC70, but it’s still undergoing repeated testing.
This may take about two more days. We recommend reaching out to us again in two days — once we confirm the firmware is performing well, we will push it to your device.

Hi @snowstorm, We have consulted the R&D department about this matter, and they informed us that the final testing has not yet been completed. It may take a while.
As for the new AC70, we believe there is an 80% chance that it will come with the System Switch Recovery function pre-installed.

My AC70 received an ARM update to v2082.14 today and I can confirm that the system switch recovery did indeed work. I activated “System Switch Recovery”. Power was fully discharged, and upon recharge, AC output turned back on. Thank you!

What firmware are you on right now? Make sure you update both the device and the app on the phone. They both have to be updated for this to work.
