How do you think will this method work for APEX 300?
Sure, why not. But I think Apex fans are three - wire, so take that into consideration.
However I don’t see a reason to change anything in my apex. Fans work fine there.
Do you see the markings on the board itself?
I would assume red is 12v
Black is ground
Blue is PWM
White is RPM
you need to open a diagram for the fan you want to replace it with and connect the wires respective of their purpose, i.e. Noctua:

Thanks for help. I haven’t fully disassembled the unit. Only tried cover on the side.
However there’s a video where someone assembles the unit. And at 10:38 you may see how the fan port looks like.
