AC180T no charging at low grid voltage

  1. I tried to reinstall it on my phone
  2. It is the latest version
  3. In the message above I wrote that I tried it on a different phone with the same result

Hi @magicpurplecow, that is weird, I have reported it to our engineer.
Can you take a video or some photos to show this problem?
Is there any error code on the Bluetti app? Meanwhile, please tell you your cellphone model and app version.
If you agree, we can also roll back your firmware to the initial version, which might resolve the issue.

New update from 27.08 resolved this issue. It wasn’t working, now it does. The UI also changed a bit. Works on both phones now

And thanks for the firmware update. I’ll definitely be able to check how it works soon.

Hi @magicpurplecow, thank you for letting us know.
I am glad to hear that the problem is resolved.

I’ve been able to test the charging with low voltage once already.
I had 185v or so, it was charging. One test may not be enough, but considering where I live, I’ll test it more than once…
Thanks

I have the regular AC180, do you think this firmware will work with my unit?

I also live in a country with frequent power outages and I have a generator but it outputs 215V. During high load it would go as low as 188V. I use the AC180 as a buffer between the generator and my electronics, however at the most recent outage, I noticed the GRID indicator flashing and the generator voltage was fluctuating between 204V and 188V.

Hi @seesaaaw, I think the new firmware does help, we suggest you try it.
I have applied to upgrade your DSP to our IT department. They will push the latest firmware version to your machine next Monday.
Please upgrade it then.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Thank you, I have received the update. I will have to wait until the next power outage to test it.

Hi @seesaaaw, Thank you for letting us know.
We hope everything goes smoothly from here!
Please feel free to contact us if you need our help.

I have since bought a voltage stabilizer for my setup. Could I request to be put back on the original firmware?

Hi @seesaaaw, We don’t think rolling back the firmware is necessary since it doesn’t help at all.
Do you still insist on rolling back? If so, we will still arrange it for you.

Yes, please roll back for me. Apologies for the trouble

Hi @seesaaaw, Thank you for your confirmation. We have applied to roll back the firmware to the original DSP v2078.06 for you.
This process may take 24 hours to complete, so please proceed with the upgrade tomorrow.
Once the upgrade is successful, please contact us.

Thank you, I am back on v2078.06 now.
However I keep seeing this. I assume this is a bug? or is there an actual .99 version?
I tried upgrading a few times, but it always show this again.

Hi @seesaaaw, Thank you for the update. This is normal. The firmware upgrade process only allows upgrading from a lower version number to a higher one. To enable rolling back to the original firmware, we temporarily named the original firmware version as Version 99.

Since you have successfully reverted to the original version, we have removed the upgrade prompt, and you will no longer receive upgrade notifications in the future.

@BLUETTI_CARE Hello! My AC180T doesn’t want to charge from low AC voltage (185-195V). Charging Mode is set to Silent and Grid Self-adaptation is set to Enabled. I’ve got and Alarm notification saying I need to contact support and upgrade my firmware. As I understand, the default firmware disables charging when voltage drops below 195V. Could you please help to upgrade the firmware of my AC180T? Below are its parameters:
AC180T2444000241651
IOT v9046.04
ARM v2097.09
DSP v2096.09
BMS v1038.17

Thanks.

Hi @saarixx, thank you for contacting us.
Now I have applied to upgrade your system to our IT department. They will push the latest version of firmware to your unit in 24 hours.
Please upgrade the firmware tomorrow. Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Unfortunately 3 days passed but my AC180T still hasn’t got any updates. When I enter “Upgrade” section I see “You’re up to date” message and the same version numbers as I mentioned above.

I received an option to upgrade to DSP v2096.10 today and updated the firmware. Thank you.
I will let you know if it charges from AC 194V and lower when voltage drops again.
