AC180 solar panel input sunrise and sunset concerning

Hello my ac180 seems to detect solar energy when the sun is barely coming up and when it is going down (or all the way down) and it wants to turn on the PV input because I hear it clicking on but there isn’t enough solar to keep it on so it turns off repeatedly for about 5-10 min. It doesn’t bother me unless I’m trying to sleep or watch a movie during those times. However, I want to know if there is a solution to this or what. I have unplugged it in the past but I find that a bit tedious. For background, I live out of my sprinter van with two 320watt solar panels in parallel. Thank you!

Hi @rbecker28

i dont think there is any real solution for this. I wish there is a feature where you can turn off the Unit automaticly as soon there is no input or output for x hours. This clicking is a relay. This happends when not enogh input voltage comes from the Solarpanels. When its completly dark outside, it shouldnt click anymore.

With my EP500Pro, i just turn it off and plug it in the next morning by now.

greetings
Erik
