How do we unleash the potential of the 400 watt DC aviation port? Mine will not connect to anything and I am lacking in understanding on how to use it and what specifically it can do.
@Scott-Benson The AC200L has a 48V battery.
If you want to have 12V and 24V, you will have to integrate it into the AC200L and to save space, the outputs will be limited to 10A for 12V and 5A for 24V.
Whereas with the D40 externally, you will have 30A at 12V and 15A at 24V which is appreciable for powering an entire van at 12V or 24V.
Will this thing called a D40 actually be available before my AC200L is obsolete and replaced by a new model?

What is the possibility of connecting your camper 12V DC fuse box directly to the Bluetti 48V DC connection using a 3-prong aircraft connector and not use the D40? Any limitations of such a set up?

This a good system for a trailer for being in one place at a time, but I am using my Bluetti AC200L for both 240V AC, (I’m in the EU), and for my 12V DC which powers lights, refrigerator, water pump and diesel heather when necessary so I don’t have room for leisure batteries. I had thought to use the 48 AMP 12V DC port to my circuit breaker but found out that’s not possible without the D40. Mind you I had the EB70 that had 2 10AMP plugs and traded it for the AC200L for more 240 capacity if I need it, so I consider that new feature for the AC200L a fail. The AC200 Max has a 30 AMP 12V DC port which would have been nice. Any thoughts?
@befranklin if you need to use the 48V interface, D40 is necessary.
Because the interface has an enable pin that requires communication to use this output.
So what’s the Amperage output on the D40 for 12V DC connections?
I have seen both 20 amps and 30 amps. I have personally tested it at 21 amps but am in process of working up other cables to increase load. I have not been able to start all items plugged into the cable that will start when plugged into the lower output cig socket so there are definitely some item compatibility issues that are not related to load,
