Plug in a DC fuse box without D40?

After a defect with our 2.5 year old AC200MAX, we have purchased the AC200L.

Conversion question:

In our van, we had a DC fuse box plugged directly into the 12v/30amp port on the MAX.

Can we plug our DC fuse box directly into the 48v/8amp port on the AC200L or will we blow fuses? Do we need the D40 to run our DC stuff (not much - a few lights and chargers).

Trying to avoid spending another $150.

AC200L connect 12v fuse box

Hello, Changing from an AC200MAX to an AC200L. Using this in our van as primary power source. With the AC200MAX, we used the 12vdc/30amp port to connect a 12v fuse box. With the AC200L, can we use the 48V/8amp port to power the 12v fuse box or will we blow fuses OR do we need the D40. If we use the D40, do we need a fuse (if so, which one) between the D40 and the fuse box? Thanks!
