#BluettiSwapSolar - B72S: B300-like autonomous charging station

Fact: AC180T does a great job at charging the batteries.
.
Is the DC plug of the F045D fridge compatible with the battery packs for direct charging from a car plug, or using the fridge’s AC power brick?
If not, the following might be worth considering.
.
The inverter of AC180T might not be necessary all the time, and its extra bulk could be seen as a hindrance in the mind of a potential buyer. We probably need a small variation of B300, designed for the SwapSolar battery modules. Let’s call it B72S (like a Battery in the 720Wh range with Solar input).

  • Take 1 SwapSolar battery at a time to limit the bulk.
  • Has built-in AC input to recharge from a wall socket (or any power generator). No need for external power brick (not needed in B300, necessary here due to the primary function of B72S).
  • Has 12-28V input (like in AC70, similar in capacity) with an MPPT so it can take both 12V and 24V from car lighter sockets, as well as from portable PV200 and the likes.
  • Does NOT have AC output: it’s primarily a battery charger, with the bonus “extra mile” Bluetti adds to its lineup. An inverter would be defeating the purpose of B72S.
  • Has, just like B300 and B80, a few DC outputs for extra convenience on the go.

It would only be slightly larger than the battery pack itself, and would provided a much needed selling argument to the SwapSolar series.

Think of the following scenario:

  • You already are the happy owner of a Bluetti power station.
  • SwapSolar fridge F045D is clearly useful to you, but don’t need an AC180T as you already own a splendid solar generator.
  • So you just buy a fridge and 2 batteries.
  • This makes the fridge your only option to recharge the batteries.

You would then greatly benefit from a standalone charger. Think of B300: it’s a standalone battery that can both charge from a wall outlet and from solar input. IT can also provide DC output.
.
Moreover, the market is already familiar with stand alone stations for their DC battery operated tools:

Cheers, however I just realize that @Jacksdad poster something similar 12h ago:

Oh, and you commented on that one. Small world ;-)

I just hope that the final version of the swappable batteries have the same DC plug as the F045D fridge so the power brick / DC cords of the fridge can recharge the batteries. Minor design / engineering adjustment with great added value IMHO.

Don’t u think it’s compatible with regular dc plugs? Why should it need an additional adapter?

Need to get my hands on one. Just in case there’s a voltage/BMS reason, the plugs might be incompatible.
